Another day of getting stuff done. Some more work on the buckler shield, and the large Finger Seal is ready for etching. But, more importantly, we got a special piece done. Someone very important to me very much enjoys the Horizon series of video games. In the games, the characters use a device called a "Focus", which they use to link up with old world computers and communicate with each other. It is a simple yet sleek looking item.
This is what it looks like in the games.
This was basically done, before adding the ear cuff.
We marked and cut a piece of simple steel, then sanded it to where I wanted. My teacher told me how we could have gotten and LED to allow it to light up, but that was a bit too difficult for the level I am currently at. So instead, we actually cut strips from an old pen that was the perfect color, and super-glued it. Once that has dried, all that was left was the ear cuff. For that, we took some copper, flattened the end, and bent it as needed.
Another successful project in the books!
